Hội An & Mỹ Sơn

Here are some more images from my recent trip. I took these in the ancient town of Hội An, where I was lucky enough to witness lanterns illuminating the town as thousands were released across the old quarter to light up the Hoai River.

I also travelled to Mỹ Sơn. Mỹ Sơn is the site of abandoned and partially ruined Hindu temples constructed between the 4th and the 14th century AD by the kings of Cham Empire. Temperatures of 37°C didn’t put me off an enjoyable photographic opportunity.
